Bringing a Bike
We encourage participants to bring their own bicycle for the ride. This is the best way to ensure you are comfortable with your bike. Our staff will meet you at Ben Gurion Airport (BGA) at 9:00am on Tuesday morning, April 23 to transport you and your bike to our first hotel in Jerusalem. If you will arrive in Israel prior to April 23, we can arrange to have your bike stored at BGA and transported with the other bikes on Tuesday morning to meet you at the hotel when you arrive for additional cost. Similar storage arrangements can be made for the end of the trip, as well. If you have any questions about bringing your own bike or would like to arrange for early bike storage, please contact us at ramahbikeride@campramah.org.
Special Thanks to El Al Airlines, the preferred airline of the Ramah Israel Bike Ride 2013, for waiving 50% of the fee for checking a bike on their transatlantic flights, a $210 value. If this applies to you, please click here for more information and instructions for receiving this credit.
